The 9 volt jack is an input. It is designed so that you can power the SuperBlock from your 9 volt supply already on your pedalboard. (For those that have them.)
When powering the SuperBlock from the 9 volt supply, it will produce one really loud watt of power, and the xlr out will still be operational.
